REGISTRATION
Welcome to Congregation of the Damned! We're happy to have you around. First off, please read all the information located under the Rules and Information boards. This is very vital. Once you join, you may change the username to the first and last names of your characters (except for angels/fallen angels). Applications may be long and tedious but it is very important to develop a character. You have one week to finish an application unless you have talked to an admin about extending the time. There is a maximum of two characters per person and one character per account. Don't start posting before you are accepted and have filled out all the claims.

POSTING
Stay active! Yes we all have lives but at least attempt to get on every once in a while just to let us know you're still alive. Oh and don't go making an app and disappear, that's no fun. There is currently no word count but at least try and write a decent paragraph. Don't post a 100 word reply to someone's 600 word post. Of course there's the thing that nobody's perfect so stay away from those Mary/Gary Stu's. Also, literacy! Once again, this is an INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED forum so please use the spell check. Post in PAST tense and THIRD-PERSON. There will be absolutely no GODMODDING unless given permission by that person. [R] threads are those that contain explicit sexual content or graphic violence. These must be clearly marked and a person can only be in ONE [R] thread for every THREE threads they create for themselves.

GRAPHICS
Yes! They look good and make the site look good so we encourage all members to have a signature and avatar. If you can't make one, there are plenty of people who can help! Avatars are to be 100 x 100 and signatures are to be 500 x 250, including any added text. If a signature is too big or stretches the board, an admin will tell you to fix this! If it is not fixed then the offending signature will be removed.

OUT OF CHARACTER
RESPECT. Come on people, we've learned this since we've been old enough to understand English. If you've got a problem with someone, get an admin to help or go fix the problem yourself through IM. We don't want to hear about how much you hate so and so in the cbox. The admins are the fucking BOARD GODS. Don't mess with us yeah? And don't steal from this site. A lot of sleepless nights and long mornings have been placed into this site. This site took a lot of hard work and if one person finds the balls to ruin it, this shit will hit the fan. We also ask that you put credit where it's due.

PLOT
For this site to work, it is important that people follow the rules. Make sure you are familiar with the group information because it is so very very important for those forum to work. If I see sparkling vampires, I might kill somebody so READ the INFORMATION. As for Fallen Angels, since these can easily be abused there is a natural ban on these. In order to be CONSIDERED for a fallen angel, a character must have 150 posts and have ADMIN permission to create one. These fallen angels cannot be created from scratch, they must already be angel characters. Only 1/8 of the site's population can be composed of Fallen Angels.

COMMON SENSE
For crying out loud, use it. These rules are subject to change at any time and I don't have the time to be all graaah about rules. So, use that brain of yours and be smart. Oh and so now that you've read the rules looking for the rule phrase. It's watch this city burn.
