[THE DAMNED]

GENERAL
The basic of all the races and the reason for why the world is the way it is today. Since Reedemer, humans have been rebuilt New York but now they are being forced by Angels to build their empire and hunted by vampires for their blood. They're not going down without a fight though. Humans have managed to regain some of their former technology and they have built new ones to defend themselves from the vampires.

SOCIETY
Inside their newly built fortress, Elegy, the humans hide and plot ways to overthrow the other species. Elegy is run much like a democracy but there are times when complete dictatorship is necessary. There are many different politcal beliefs inside Elegy, some believe that the Angels are God's gift whle others believe they will be the end to human society. Despite the conflict outside, life inside Elegy is much like a normal city but the looming possibility of attack is always there. Humans that stray outside have a very high possibility of being forced into slavery or drained by a vampire. Because of this reason, humans tend to travel in groups.
