With William Gaunt at the helm the Death Eaters became more organised and visible than ever. After an attack at the Ministry's Halloween Ball there was no way that the battle of good vs evil could be hidden any longer. Many were wounded, some fatally, but sadly this would not be the end of the struggle. Battle lines were drawn and despite their best efforts the Order could not win; the power of the Death Eaters was too strong. Witches and wizards, fought world wide, losing prominent members on both sides including Molly Weasley, Peter Pettigrew and Rabastian Lestrange. [/ul]
