Nephilar
The Vampires of the Nephilar Coven (called Nephilims by their own kind) have always been pleasure seeking vampires. Before Reedemer, they cared for nothing but luxury and were never much for fighting. Even after the event, Nephilims just want to revert back to their old ways with the least amount of violence possible.
They advocate peace and compromise between covens to end the threat of the angels. When forced to violence, however rare it is, these vampires stand on the Alykir side and use traditional weaponry.
Markiv
The Vampires of the Markiv Coven (called Marks by their own race) are those that advocate for change. As human technology moved forward, these Vampires moved with it, seeing the potential it held. Traditions and rules were often forgotten and changed, making the Markiv's very different from their brethren.
Marks are the only of the Vampires to use things like phones and firearms. Like humans, they have grown also hopelessly dependant upon them, and are finding the life without very difficult. Many would argue these Vampires have begun to lose touch with their feral abilities, trading technology for raw power.
Alykir
The Vampires of the Alykir Coven (called Alykir by their own race) represent the traditionalists of the Vampires. Change is a deadly thing in the eyes of these Vampires. They feel no need to modify a system that existed since the dawn of their time, and has proved effective since.
Little has changed inside their halls since the Middle Ages. These Vampires use the same weaponry, the same means of communication, even the same currency. Their system of rule has also remained unchanged, with a more aristocratic approach to rule. Because of their upstanding nature towards tradition, Alykir are usually a bit more formidable foes than the Markiv's when it comes to physical combat.
Although all of the clans generally get along, the Markiv and Alykir have been known to have disputes. Their contrasting beliefs upon technology and tradition lead them to not always see eye to eye.[/blockquote][/center]
